to be honest, we just ripped (without breaking) everything out. THe cars are like legos.....you just have to screw around....with your 8 metric sockets and wrenches
Those are pics from a weekend of fun my buddy and I had...and yes, I did put components in the rear, way better IMHO. Here is a link to almost 50 pics

that is attainable...there is a thread about a maxima or something like that that did the same thing, looked OEMOriginally Posted by mnapoles

Considering i have already seen the stock HU out of the dash I dont think its even remotely possible to move to the bottom opening as it is a huge brick of an HU with only the controls being seperate. you would have to design and build your own custom serial interface that would work with the existing climate control hardware which i believe to be out of the techincal scope of 99.9999% of the people on this thread. In my model of 03' accord as i turn the temperature dial it displays a number on the HU's screen. the only way to fix this would be moving the ENTIRE unit w/ controls.Originally Posted by 98EXL
there is another option though.... mounting the screen in the bottom opening like im doing and problem solved!
03-05 Accord 7" Mold
I could do it, just a little more work than what I need to do

It just seems to me that if you have dual CC then the easiest way to do it is just mount the screen in the lower portion of the column?
oh but of course it is the easy way....but who wants to do that?Originally Posted by mnapoles
