This isn't a problem during the day, it's a bit of an inconvenience during the night.

He also says that the hottest hot and the coldest cold are not equal (less) than the stock setup. Similarly, he says the AC does not quite blow as hard (heh).

All in all he's still happy, considering we were able to do all of this in a matter of 2 hours and it still looks really stock. The night shots are because he's super proud of his tokyo-by-night effects
Hey I need help, how do I get the kit to be illuminated at night. I know I have to attach the orange cable coming from the back of the kit but where do I attach it to ? If some one could please help me?

Does anyone have pictures of the back of the top mount metra kit?

I am thinking about having doing something like it, but wanted room for a 7in widescreen. I would like to use the lower part and relocate the top controls and buttons.

Thats pretty ambitious to relocate the controls. I have dual air so it wasnt really an option cause all my dual a/c is basically part of the OEM radio.
And the metra kit just looks odd to me.

I see some tabs under the front of the rear seat, what do you do with these in order to release the bottom of the rear seat?

I found that grommet in the firewall you're referring to, I was planning on using that and running the power wires up the drivers side. I was going to run the RCAs up the middle or the passenger side.

Any tips on getting these pieces off would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

I had to go through the door because i was unable to find a place to put it through the firewall. i put on some cable covering so its very unnoticable. as far as the panels to run it back, i just pryed up the running boards, and the wall panels a little, and ran the cable under them, was quick, i had power to the trunk in like half an hour.

Yea i used th main factory grommet and pushed my 4G wire thru there. And yes the back seat has 2 like PULL tabs that will release the bottom cushion upwards.
