    usb volume control?? help pleaseee

    i saw a thread here about a month ago with this little round thing that acted like a volume controller it was about 50 bucks and god have i searched this site for about 4 hours. and i must be the biggest idiot!!! cause i cant find it. it was not specifically for volume but could be use to control alot of things but i wanted it to control volume.
    need help putting up my carputer!!!! help me out guys and please be kind to the newbiee
