Arrow Could someone help tell me what the difference is between these two Inverters?

Im unable to tell what the differences are between these two inverters, which merits one costing $20 dollars more than the other. Here is the first one: First Inverter . This one costs $30 bucks. Here is the second one: Second Inverter . This one costs $50 bucks.

One is 300 watts. The other is 320 watts. One has a cooling fan. The other doesn't say whether it has a cooling fan or not.

Do you think a cooling fan is necessary? I live in NY, so the only times it is hot is for a couple of months in the summer. Many people say that the loud noise from an inverter is because of the fan. Would it be safe to get one without a fan? I primarily am going to use the inverter for an Xbox.

keep in mind that you should run your invertor straight off the battery and not using the cig lighter. I believe the xbox will want more than just 1amp (checked mine, 2.1amps on a 1.6b xbox), and most cig lighters have trouble putting out 1amp. I got a $35 invertor from walmart that works fine with my laptop when I am wardriving....i connect it to my amprack's power, so it does cause a little noise, but nothing noticeable. my stereo isnt turned up when wardriving...never wardrive alone

Could you post a link to your inverter? I'm just curious as to what you are using. Also what do you mean by your "amprack"?

Holy that's a big one. Not a bad price at all either. Easy to hook up and install? Also does it survive cranking?

Yes, i think a cooling fan is very necessary on the inverter. Converting dc to ac creates a bit of heat in the inverter unit, and if not properly cooled, that thing is gonna break pretty swift.

Well you have to run large wire from the battery. Can't just plug it into the cigarette lighter. I have an aux battery, so I don't know if it would survive cranking.
