    Abit nf7-s sound

I have a NF7-S mobo laying around and was wanting to know if the Aux-in on my kenwood z727 head unit would support 5.1 or just stereo output. A friend of mine said that it would be surround sound but I am not sure, I think it would just be stereo.

also please check the rest of my PC specs and see if the 150W Opus could handle it.

    lilliput 7" touchscreen
    Abit NF7-S Mobo (laying around)
    ATi 9800Pro (laying around)
    Athlon 2400+ Mobile 35W Proc
Corsair PC2700 512MB (Again laying around)
    WD Scorpio 80GB HD
    Toshiba Slimline DVD
    Thermalright SI-97 Heatsink (fanless solution)
    Opus 150W PSU

Holy smokes, you want to run a full motherboard/video card with an athlon mobile processor? I don't think it will run all that AND the lilliput/HD combo. I think you should tone it down a bit. Why do you need that heavy a video solution? Also may want to think about integrated solution if you want a mATX system over the traditional m-ITX systems.

With that setup your looking at about 191 watts max. That video card alone is around 70 watts max.

I understand I am pushing over the 150 limit but I also know that most places under rate their products. I didnt know if the setup would still be to much taking into account the under-rated 150W PSU. The 9800Pro only showed as 54watts on the power calc I used.

what power calculator are you using? ive got similar hardware planned:

    MSI KT6V-LSR (onboard digital audio)
    Mobile Athlon 2400+
    512MB DDR
    ATI Radeon 7500
    WD 160GB SATA drive

havent had a chance to test it out yet...

edit: by the way, the 2400+ is a 45 Watt processor. the 2200+ is 35 Watt IIRC.
