More information might be helpful. I'll assume that if I were near Essex, I'd know it, so I don't think I'm close enough to help out. But it might help to just give a more specific location. After all, this board is read by people from all over the globe...

Having said that...

What kind of stuff are you wanting to install? What kind of car are you wanting to install this stuff into? Is there any custom fabrication work involved? The more information you can give about the job, the more likely you are to get some replies. Please forgive me if I'm being too quick to judge here, but the fact that your post was so vague indicates that you probably know very little about what is actually involved in installing a computer into a car. So, anyone who is willing to help you would probably end up doing 99% of the work. Why don't you just go to a car audio shop and pay them for the install?

Yes, quite right, he knows very little. That's why he's posting in the Newbies forum Besides, we're all here because CarPuters are our hobby and half the fun is gained through learning, doing and meeting others who do the same, not giving our pride and joy systems to some fitter to do for us.

Never heard of Essex!! Essex is to London what Fulton is to Atlanta. Lots of important things have come out of Essex, like, erm, well, I dunno really, cos I don't live there, but I'm sure lots of things have.
