Thread: Remote head lights

HI all,

I would like to turn my headlights on via a remote... I have got this car alarm installed http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...958006372&rd=1

It has got a Aux output on this alarm and i would like to use on of them to do the headlights.

Thing is im not sure how to hook this upto the head lights , the AUX output only has one wire giving a 0.8 second 500mA pulsed negative output.

I have tryed using a relay which did turn them on for 0.8 seconds then it switchs them off again, what i need to know is how can i get the relay to switch them on via the remote and to keep them on
