Thing I would do is get a cheap USB enclosure that you can put a spare harddrive into. Now you have quite a bit of space to move the files over. If your mobo supports USB 2.x then your in luck, make sure you buy a usb 2.x enclosure for your spare harddrive. If it only supports 1.x then well, its going to be pretty damn slow.Hi, I have about 8 gigs of stuff on my computer that I want to move to my computer in my car. I have a wireless network, but even when Im parked outside my house, it has like barely any signal, so it can't even copy any files. I can't move the computer inside because it is connected to my car and everything. Currently, I am using my Sandisk 1 gb MP3 player to move stuff over, but its taking FOREVER!! Are there any quicker routes? Thanks!
Other thing you can do is run a REALLY LONG cable from your router to your car, but thats usually not feasable.
