What do you use for a mouse in a CarPC?

Okay, I have my LCD, Computer and am testing out multiple programs (although I will probably just write my own Software for my Car PC's, yes, PCs, I have two cars, need two computers.)

Anyways, I'm going to use a USB Notebook sized keyboard in the car for when I need a keyboard. I may also find a nice keyboard pop up utility for the touch screen. However, there will be times when I need a mouse.

What do people use for mice in their cars?

    My Thoughts...

    1. Logitech MX1000 (MX Laser) mouse. While expensive, it's wireless and rechargable and it has an on/off switch so I can turn it off when I'm not using it. The dock isn't that car friendly though and it would need a surface to work on, although optical mice do amazing things sometimes. The big problem though is that the batteries are not replaceable so if it dies you have to charge it before you can use it again.

    2. Trackball - they are kinda big and ockward, but might be a solution.

    3. Normal USB Optical Mouse. Simple, Cheap and ugh, it has a cord!

    4. ATI Remote Wonder, RF wireless and cheap (I already have one.) But they are a bit hard to use as a mouse... It does have programable buttons and volume controls though...

What have you all found to work?

I'm a geek, so I'll probably want to do some web browsing and the such in my car from time to time. I may also install Visual Studio in case I need to tweak things ... yes, if you see a Suzuki X90 in a Rest Stop in VA with someone typing away, it's probably gunna be me making a small modification to some code!

Yeah, I should have mentioned, My 7" LCDs are Touch Screens. I plan on using the touch screen for most applications, but I know I'll need a mouse once and a while.

Here's a run down of my setups (Two set ups idential)
    ASUS uATX Motherboard w/Celeron D 2.4Ghz - 512M Ram
60g Laptop Drive (In a removable bay, just incase.)
    DVD ROM Drive
    D-Link PCI 108Mbs Wireless Extreme-G Card w/ 6 dBi Hawking Antenna
TView 700 7" LCD w/ USB Touch Screen.

I don't know that you'll ever really see the need for a mouse, but what about somthing like this?

I use a touchpad integrated into my center console, I also have a ATI Remote Wonder that has mouse functionality.
