    05' mustang gt...now what?

    hello everyone,
    i've been reading throught here and i must say that im very excited that i found this forum.i just bought a new mustang gt and being both a car nut and a computer freak it was only natural that i take the plunge and install one inside the car.there is only one problem...i have tooooo many options to choose from! what do you think would be the best setup? what parts should i use and how do you think i should install them? thanks in advance to everyone that helps me out!

    What do you want to do with the car? Games? mp3s? Navigation? Speech?

    this is what i'm thinking (dreaming)...
    1.gaming - already have a setup in mind,,,athlon 64 3200,,,1 gig pqi 3200,,,WD250 HD,,, Nvidia 6800 gt

    2. Gps Navigation
    3. internet
    4.movies
    5.music
    6. engine diagnostics and reports (possible?)

    what do you think?

    Ok. You will need to go with an inverter. And don't expect your battery to last a long time either.

    OBDII diagnostics are possible.

    take a pic of the dash. I have 96 and i working on a 10.4 touch in dash set up. i have not seen the concel setup yet :< waiting to see 05 convertibles.

    I'm just saying that that's going to take up a lot of power. So yeh, I'd go with a tank setup and a huge inverter. I'd put the PC in the trunk because you probably don't want to hear all the fans whining when you're driving.

    For the dash... look in the fabrication subforum and in the completed projects forum

    no offence but how could you bear to nod a dash in a 05 pony they are perfect stock at least in my opintion but then i love the 60 series look in them
