M1-ATX 90 Watt - Smart Automotive Power Supply
OBD-II
Win XP Pro
4 port USB hub
Shuttle Express Controller
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB2
Some kind of navigation (any suggestions?)

Is the M1-ATX power supply going to be enough for this system?
Am I missing anything besides adapters for the HD and DVD drive?
Is there any way to mount the sound card parallel to the motherboard (like an L adapter or something)?
Please post any helpful comments, I would like to get a jump on this project soon and I want to make sure I get it right (for the most part) the first time.

Get a flexible PCI extender for the Soundcard, this will then allow you to mount it parallel to the motherboard.

For the power question - do a search for Power Calculator on the forums.

I wouldn't recommend a flexible PCI extender. All you need is a standard 1U PCI riser card.

do any of the usb connections use power, like do i need to add those into the calculations?

how do i know how much power each component uses, i didnt see anything about power consumption for the mb in the manual, only that its 12 volts, no wattage specs
