my friend's helping me set up my carputer, currently, it's running on windows xp, default player is Frodo Player

i added an LiteOn external dvd player to the carputer, it powered up, but it doesn't play, i tested the external player w/ laptop and it works

is there any way to find out if it's really conflicts?
