    Critique my parts and plan

I am currently in the planning stages, here is my parts list:

*Xenarc 700TS - VGA Monitor with touchscreen
*OPUS 150 watt DC-DC power Supply
*MSI K7N2GM-V Socket A (Socket 462) NVIDIA nForce2 IGP Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
*CORSAIR ValueSelect 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered System Memory
    *AMD Mobile Athlon XP-M 2200+ (35W) Barton 266MHz FSB Socket A Processor
*Logitech 980240-0403 Black 3.5mm Connector Desktop Microphone
*Kworld VS-LTV7131R(RF W/FM) PCI Interface TV Tuner Card (for FM radio, mainly)
    *D-Link DWL-G510 32bit PCI 2.2 Wireless Adapter
*40 gb Hard drive stolen from my fileserver
    *Audiotrak Prodigy Sound card
*Panasonic Slot Load DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive + usb enclosure
    *USB Blootooth dongle
    *USB hub
*Wifi antenna- 2.4 GHz Range Extender 5 dBi Omni 1 with Mag Base / Connector
*power wire, audio wire, 1/8" audio jack to rca splitters, rca connectors, inline fuse holders, fuses, multi-output battery terminal, power distribution block
    *case for pc

Question1: How does that look for a parts list? Any glaring errors or omissions?

The overview of my plan is to install the pc in the trunk, secured by velcro + a strap, with the opus in the case. Ground the opus/case to the vehicle chassis at the trunk, and run power to the opus from the battery at the front of the car, with an inline fuse by the battery. I'm going to run a power wire from the opus to the center console for the lcd and accessories, with an inline fuse at the opus.

Question2: I want to install a powered USB hub by the center console, it will have the dvd drives USB cable plugged into it, as well as the xenarc's usb cable. Is it ok to run a single power wire from the Opus to the center console, then split it with a power distribution block and run lines to both the lcd and usb hub? Or should I just run 2 power wires from the opus?

Then, run 4 audio wires from the trunk to the amp under the passengers seat, a usb cable from the trunk to the center console, vga cable from trunk to dash, and the mic cable from the trunk to the dash. Oh, and either splice coax from the stock antenna cable by the trunk, or run coax from the dash antenna connection to the trunk for the tuner card.

Ive been lurking and reading on this board for a while, and I think im finally close to being ready to put my plan into motion.

Any comments, suggestions, questions? Am I forgetting anything?

Yeah, that'll work fine. I one ground and one 5 volt line using speaker 18 gauge speaker wire up to my arm rest and then soldered three wires onto each line for a slimline DVD-ROM and a powered USB hub (and one extra if I decide to add anything in the future).

As for the antenna, I wouldn't hack into it. I would way rather just buy an extension cable and run it to the back, or use some kind of splitter to allow it to go ino our headunit and PC. You want to try and hack up few parts on the car as possible, unless they are easily replacable.

    Good luck
