lots of xp users it appears

it seems most everyone uses xp
ive myself still like the good old win2kpro

is there any reason more ppl are not using 2k
(aside from the fact that its 5-6 yrs old)
any frontend conflicts ( i havent had any rr frodoplayer or cfuge wise)

im not really in the position to throw down for win xp i dont feel its worth it
i happen to like the strghtfoward classic navigation of 2k. i feel xp is too user friendly i like to cut through the bs

you mean front end skins? why wouldn't they?

edit: they have to do with the application, and and not the os..

I felt the same way for a long time, but you can turn all of that user-friendly stuff off and it looks just like 2K pro. I finally comformed because they're clearly putting more support efforts and making more improvements to XP, while 2K is getting slowly shoved under the rug.

i know whatyou mean lost, but xp is compatible, its what everyones doing, you have less issues, i just converted from 2k, my desktop still is win2k, but you get more for your buck with xp when doing this stuff, plus the support is here for xp. so why fight it. also wireless is made uber easy with xp service pack 2. and i like cheese
Go on and do it, do it, Do it 'til you're satisfied,
