mappoint = MS 'Streets and Trips'?
which is better(S&T || MM)? Ive noticed that S&T is much cheaper. Im running MS Office Pro with Altina USB GPS mouse. 2.0 GHZ P4, 1gig RAM. Road Runner Front end software. Thanks for the advice.

Oh...... Well....
Map Point 2004
read the page.
And my opinion again..
MapPoint is BETTER if you want it to look like a stock system. It WONT look stock with S&T and you'll need mouse/keyboard to use it effectively.
Destinator is EVEN better if you want it to work and look stock, it's routes are not quite as good as MapPoint 2004 but it's maps are newer and better, and good routes/bad routes it gets you there.

I actually read all three pages of that original post (Map Point 2004) and the comments flop back and forth in the disscution more than Kerry during lasts election. I figured asking while providing my particular system components would produce a better result as in most of the post Ive seen are general 'which is better' senerios. This is my first in-car system and first time in dealing with gps software/hardware. Flaming people in the Newb section is discouraging.
As Darq says that's just *one* post *today*Originally Posted by evoen
And honestly, that is SO not flaming, I gave you a proper answer but come on if you read that thread and saw there was no straight answer (seeing as the best GPS software depends on where you live and what you want out of it) then you'll see different people have their own favourites and you'll never get unified answer.
