Lots of people seem to be complaining that the 1 GHz setup is lagging under certain conditions. I currently run a 2.4 GHz p4, and have no problems running music, GPS, and other programs in the back ground (GPS Secure, EZ Sync, etc).

Depends on what you want to do. Music only, the 1GHz should work well.

I'd go for the P4 setup.
