BIG HINT: CARNETIX
EDIT: please ignore the following comment as i didnt realise this is in the noob section
for **** sake.
I'm going to be using a Xenarc MP-SC8 in my project, but it requires a 19V feed. Does anyone have any experience with this box, and the power supply? I can't find any information on it on the Xenarc webite. I ordered the DC to DC adapter from them, but I don't know if it has any of the functionality of the OPUS power supplies to monitor voltage and condition the line. I'm wondering if I can or need to put an Opus in front of the Xenarc DC to DC adapter, and if so whether it will still provide the same functionality. Ideas?

just to help even more...http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...products_id=94
(as you will see it is cheaper than the Opus too)
Thanks for the "BIG HINT". I hadn't come across anything on Carnetix in the past few weeks.
BTW - No harm, no foul. I know some of my questions are very elementary at this point, but I'll eventually be able to contribute to the forums as I get farther into this project.

I opted for this setup due to the PCMCIA slot. I wanted to be able to use my Verizon wireless card for Internet access w/o being near a hot spot. I can't find any information about the Xenarc 12VDC to 19VDC power supply on their site.
This is what I'm planning. If anyone sees potential problems, or has any suggestions, or comments,.......
Please let me know.

One point about your connection diagram. The Carnetix has a dlyon output which would be better for the amp remote switch on.....
