From those sepcs... I think that it should run on an Opus 150w perfectly fine. The only problem I can see is if compaq decided to use a proprietory PSU. Then you'd have to get an adapter or go with an inverter (least optional).
I have about 15 compaq prosignia 330 desktops available to me absolutly free. They are all P3 450mhz, and I can load one up with 384mb of ram. They all have 12 gig hard drives and I also have some laptop hard drives lying around. I was wondering if I could use this equipment in my carputer and if an opus would support it all. I was thinking about using the laptop hard drives and using the converter sold here on mp3car.com to use a little less energy. Give me some ideas. I have a lot of free equipment laying around just collecting dust.

Why would you want 15 compaq's in your car? That would be a carputer-lab!Originally Posted by sciff5

Yes you could use one of them. For God's sake, search. And don't double post.

sciff5 wanna hook me up with one :-P ill pay shipping
I was actually thinking, when the time comes to install this bad boy into my car (especially the lillyput molded into the dash) I am gonna need some serious help and I was thinking I might be able to grab some help from some board members in return for some free computer parts and beer. I just had an interview today at a used computer brokering company. So if I get the job (which things look good right now) I should be up to my eyeballs in wholesale computer parts.Originally Posted by xdjxklusivex
