    problems

I hooked up a 7" tft lcd clarion screen in my car today. Everything works good but when i hit on the gas i get a whine in my speakers. I dont know what this is. I dont have a dvd player in the car just my ps2. I split the power and ground wires going to my cd player to power the screen and then ran the audio cables from the ps2 to the audio in on my cd player while the video I ran to my screen. If anyone knows what the sound is or if i did something wrong i would appreciate some feed back.
    thanx.
sorry if i dont know what im talking about.

Sound like it could be alternator noise....did you run your power and audio wires together?

This is called a ground loop. It is the result of grounding items in different locations. Search on terms "whine" or "ground loop" or "noise" for more information on ground loops.

Also, check the FAQ in the FAQ Emporium forum about hooking up your PC to your speakers.
