Hey! New Here! Looks like a pretty neat site to get ideas for My First Car!

Hey Guys and Girls! My name is Erik and I live in Illinois. I just turned 16 and I just received my first car, a Black 1995 Mercury Tracer Trio. It has the sunroof, spoiler, etc... It was my grandpa's car who just passed away in mid-April. He didn't drive much and when he did it was only to pick my cousin up from school or to drive 15 miles to get cigarettes so that car only has 55,000 miles on it.

Anyway, I was hoping you guys could help me with some ideas to "trick" this car out a little bit with some neat ideas. I will get pics up here real soon. Thanks for reading and Nice Meeting You!

lol, welcome aboard m8. You will find alot of people here take the micky (****,joke) which in my view make these forums what they are (the best).. My first car had a speedo that went sidewards and even had a choke I had to use a cloths peg on to hold it out ! Theres plenty ideas for you to pimp your new ride on here. I keep getting suprised with the ideas people come up with. Dont be afraid to ask any questions you want, u might get flamed but in the end the way I look at it, if your asking a question.. chances are someone else will want to know he answer as well. I've been here over a year now, on my 3rd install and I know I couldnt have got this far without the help of these forums. The best help is the search button on here, I use it everyday.

lol it was one of these..

except mine didnt have a spoiler or sunroof.. but it did have a vinyl roof .. now that was quality. o btw that had 55,000 miles on the clock also.. well it wasnt a clock more a stupid bar moving left to right.. was bang upto date then. .bit like the digital astra Gti lcd display that came out a few years later.. I wonder if it was just vauxhall that did stupid speedo's..

That's a superb car to own I think, I'd like one, not for everyday use, but just to take it out once in a while, and keeping it in mint condition!
You still have it?

Was it the one with the 1 litre engine? Don't know for sure, but it doesn't quite look like the ordinary Viva, didn't those Oldsmobiles have rounded head lights?
