Thanks Bugbyte, I've mounted three fans into the plexi. Two intake and one huge aluminum fan for exhaust. Haven't installed monitoring system yet. But, it's still hotter than I'm comfortable with.

Taking the rear half of the plexi off actually takes care of the problem. I'de still like to build something cool and keep the case covered.

Just noticed the link. That's great that someone is already working on using a/c. Although I'm not willing to cut a whole in my floor. I'll go read it.

Thanks again Bugbyte. Sorry my search didn't find that thread. I appreciate the help.

Bugbyte thanks again for the help. That was the perfect thread for my questions. I'll do a better job of searching next time. Just an FYI for anyone interested, my final decision is to not change my set up at all. Everything works so perfectly as it is. No need to put a fancy cooling system.

Thanks. The mouse is a remote. Here's a pic from the Targus site.

Yeah the mouse works great for my set-up. It has a 50' range. I can run my system from outside the car, like when I'm looking at my system from the hatch. I've also taken it with me to do powerpoint presentations, that's the only time I use the built in laser pointer. Having mouse, multimedia, and presentation modes really give me lots of use for this mouse.

    update

Just an update on my system status. I was previously concerned with the upcoming summer heat. It's now reached over 100 degrees a few times. The system hasn't had any problems at all. Looks like I won't need to do anything more to my system, as far as heat is concerned. This is just an FYI to anyone interested

How is your cd burner/dvd player in your glove box wired? Why do you have one in the glove box and one in your trunk?

I added the one in the glove box so that I would have access to it without having to leave the cabin. The one in the trunk was part of the initial build. There was no reason to remove it.
The one in the glove box is hooked up to a powered usb hub along with the visor keyboard. I mounted it to the ceiling of the glove box and it's only a half inch thick, so it leaves lots of room in the box. It's hardly visible. The hub and cdrw/dvd are powered with an inverter that is hidden on the floor, inside of the center console and hooked up to the car battery. Remember, I didn't know about dc/dc inverters when I built.

I still need to install my rear view camera. Can I get some opinions. It would fit perfectly in the keyhole. Should I use the keyhole or should I put it near the license plate? Is there a better place? Please give me your opinions. Thanks.
