Hiya - Quick question regarding LEX systems

    Hey there,

Just speccing up my new project and ive come accross these systems:

    http://linitx.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=341

All you need to do is bang a laptop hard drive in them and some memory and jobs a gooden(?).

Has anyone tried using one of these? does windows xp pro work fine with them?

it should just about fit in the glovebox which is a bonus but I wanted to get expert advice from you folks before I go ahead and buy it?

I guess the only down side to this is that I would have to get USB devices for audio etc as well as I could not fit PCI cards etc in there.

If anyone has any other suggestions as to what equipment to buy and where to get it from for a complete system then ill order it up now.

    Thanks

Lots of users here base their project on the M10000. This appears to be a smaller case than most use, but that's certainly not a bad thing. You also might want to consider adding an optical drive of some sort as well.

    Advice on what?

    Correct.

    You've got a starting point.
I'd say you need a screen, a method of powering the unit and some wiring, really.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
