I have another problem with my newer computer my drives and fans and all start fine and it sounds like the hd is trying to boot but nothing goes on the screen and the light goes from green to orange on the monitor

it did work before my cpu fan had been turning off so i bought a new heatsink but i tried it again iwth the old one and it did the same thing so i changed the heatsink and same results
check for loose connections... you might have knocked some ram out of place, or something.... it could explain the harddrives spinning up but not doing anything boot-wise since the mobo doesnt go through...
what goes on the screen?
what psu are you using?

i'm using an athalon 2100+ and the screen is just black
resit your ram, make sure all HD connections and all are secure, etc....
maybe you can try resitting the CPU, but I assume you didnt mess with that when you changed the heatsink. Also, are you using a opus or something, or a regular ATX psu?
