install oem navi in a g35c w/o navi?

Hey, i just leased a used '04 g35c, and it did not come w/ navi. I am wondering if infiniti can install the oem navi in my car. If so, how much would it be? The reason why i want to keep the car oem is because i want to keep the value of my car as high as possible.

you'd be better off asking your question over at www.g35driver.com. this is a car computer forum. no one here is gonna want to help you with installing an oem system into your car.

Purchased a g35c two months ago. Looked into the pricing for adding OEM nav. to the car and it was ridiculous. Aftermarket OEM parts such as this are super expensive, the factory actually takes a hit on the value of the nav unit so that they can boost the price/value of the car overall. So when you go to try and grab just the nav. unit, it is crazy expensive.

You CAN put a car PC into the g35 with very little modification and any modification that would be necessary would be easily reversable. PM me if you are interested in the setup I'm doing (although I am on a loan, not a lease, I am still interested in very little permenant mods to the car and want it to look 100% stock/oem).

That all being said, I think you'd be better off, and probably happier and definately cheaper, to get a pocketPC with bluetooth ($250 maybe?), iGuidance GPS nav. software ($100), an inexpensive bluetooth GPS receiver from ebay ($approx $80), a pocketPC mount for your car ($50~$75 for a nice one maybe?) and an FM transmitter ($35). Most of that stuff you can use for tons of other applications as well, plus it's a mobile GPS solution rather than a solution permenantly fixed in your car.
