    Deleting Linux partitions?

Hi everyone. I have a problem. I tried to install linux on my laptop awhile ago. Well, I couldn't get it to work with my wifi card. I just kind of slacked off and forgot about it, but now my windows partition is low on memory, and I got 20gb just sitting there on my linux partition! What's a non-destructive way to get my space back? I don't mind it being another drive, but I want to be able to access that partition, and use it.

If you have Win2k or XP you can use the Administrator tools in the Control Panel to partition and format the drive. If you have any version of Windows that is earlier than that, the commandline tool fdisk should work.

Why do you need to overwrite the mbr? Do you have grub or lilo on there? If so, just put the XP setup disk into the drive and boot from it. And somewhere along the line they should ask you if you want to repair your installation and fixing the mbr should be one of the options.
