    Redesigned firewall on newer Ford/Mercury Vehicles

    I am having no luck getting 6AWG power cable to go thru the firewall. I found a unused hole near the main feed but it is blocked behind it.

    Anyone run into this issue and found a better way to run cable thru it, please let me know.

    FYI - I have 2004 Mercury Mountaineer Premier.

    Drill a new hole. I couldnt an 8gauge wire to fit in my jeep, drilled a hole, and used it more than once. It makes like eaiser.
