I'm currently planning out my first
car computer. I'm looking at options between high
power and low power VIA Eden boards, or alternately something like a Gmini or PDA.
My issue is that I would like to
wifi the
onboard computer to an AP in my house and have a
video feed from a small webcam and motion sensing alerts/alarms.
This of course means that the computer has to run for at least 48-72 hours without the engine running. Would a fanless mini-itx together wit ha dedicated battery be up to the job?
Note that this is for a 1990s mini, so I would rather not go for more then one extra battery due to space constraints.
