    I think the free version of musicmatch jukebox can handle that.

    Oops.. actualy is there one that lets me convert WMA files on my HD to MP3's on my HD? or does CDex do that and i just missed it?

    Not sure if CDex does that. Doing WMA->MP3 is really this:
    WMA->Uncompressed (raw PCM files)
    Uncompressed -> MP3.

    You're going to introduce some more loss by recompressing an already compressed file, you might want to think about think about just re-encoding from the raw CD -> MP3 is you have it.
