2000 model E46 4dr non-folding rear seat back removal - how?

I could not find a way to remove rear seat back in my E46 4-door, non-folding version. I looked all around the seat to no avail. It just will not come out.

I would appreciate some advice on this. I tried to understand the steps highlighted here to no avail. May be you can explain it better?

Put your hand under the seat, push the seat back(towars the rear windshield) pull up to unclip and pull towards you to take out.
Then you unscrew the nut by the door, push the seatrest towards the ground and pull towards you, than pull up on the seatrest.

Thanks -- but I could not find a single spot where I can push it inwards even for a mere 2mm. It's rock solid -- can't push it.

Attaching couple of images, would you mind pointing me at the exact spot where I should be holding and pushing back?
