Can I use this for my touch screen?

I'm totally new to this. I've been reading about carputer for a few days now and it totally sparks interest. I just bought this VRX755VD before I find out about carputer. My question is can I use this screen as the touchscreen for a carputer? If not I will return this and invest in putting a carputer in my Accord Coupe EX V6. Thanks.

how are you going to get an output- hack it? TS are USB or serial, that unit has neither.

could you not use a graphix card with video output and plug it into the screens video input.... (yea it wont be as good as VGA) open the screen up and put the TS overlay in it and run the wires to the back of the h/u for the TS controler then USB to the computer?

Yes you could, but that would result in a crappy screen (composite video doesn't look good) with a hacked in ts that would render all other functions of the unit unusable (2 touchscreens over each other won't work, lol).

Quite expensive for a crappy screen then, no?
