    Smile Current Planed Setup

Hi guys been looking at what to buy to make my carputer and figured this was a good setup, just wondered mainly if the power supply is going to be compatible with the motherboard.
What other things will I need? I’m only going to be using it for MP3 playback, DVD/Mpegs, Sat Nav.

Compatibility between motherboard and PSU isn't that much of a concern.
How much power the entire setup will draw and the power limitation of the PSU is an issue.
Based on what you've laid out as specs, you'll do just fine.

What other things will I need? I’m only going to be using it for MP3 playback, DVD/Mpegs, Sat Nav.
    Extension cables, probably.
An Amp wiring kit to wire up the Opus.
Some method of securing the components in your ride.
    Operating System and application software.
    Lots of patience.
Blood, sweat and tears (I don't mean the band).
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

No no, buy the BU-303... and what a coincidence... I'm selling mine!

haha, no really, get the new sirf III's... I need to get rid of this BU-303 in favor of BU-353 or 355.

Cool Cheers guys you've been a great help, I already have 2awg wire running front to back cos i had a subwoffer in the boot and i'm going to make a false side panel in the boot with a door to put the pc in (nice and Tidy?). As for operating system i've got xp pro and the rest of the software i 've downloaded from varius sites, think i'm going to use RR cos it seems good and flexable.
And i've already bought the gps mouse.
All thats left is stupping up the cash and a bit of hard graft.
    Thanks again.
