    New member, Epia V Sound and general build

    Hey, recently picked up a 92 Subaru Legacy Sport Sedan

    Im giving it the full CarPC treatment, starting out with just MP3s and maybe moving up to include DVD and GPS

    Anyway.

    I've ordered an Epia V8000A ($60 on ebay)
    The Lilliput 7" screen from here
    the Opus 80W DC-DC from here
    Gonna drop in 256mb ram and prolly a 60gb toshiba drive.

    I'm installing the hardware in the armrest, and the screen in the DIN2.5 slot.

    I hear the Epia V's have kind of weak bass reponse. Think I should move up to a Audigy, or at least SB Live?

    Cool Idea for the dvd and usb ports, Whats the air intake for?

    Edit: Oh I guess its to cool the dvd?
