in a Land Rover which does a fair amount of off road and runs a decent risk of running into 4 -5 feet of water on the trail, it does serve its purpose well...shock proof, water proof and to be honest...not too much of a slug once tweaked...now this is comparing it to my Alienware laptop..P4 3.2 gig and so on...
I dont run too much on it to be honest...but it serves its purpose well...and is removable if I wanna take it out the truck to get a visual on a map feature with Topo 5.0...gotta love that

Actually, I just googled it, and it says it uses a PIII 866MHz -m chip. The extra cache must make a hell of a difference. Wouldn't that be faster than the M10000? I thought that the M10000 runs like a 700-800MHz machine.Originally Posted by shizzle
Here are the specs of the one that I will probably end up buying once I have a job again and another car. Perfectly fast enough for a car environment.
