Im not trying to set you off but I believe that by molding the screen...he is thinking out of the box. It sometimes takes a lot of creativity and enginuity to mold a screen into a dash peice(not always, but sometimes) I would like to know how simply sliding in a single-din flip out is thinking out of the box...

02 Ford Explorer's deck is din-and-a-half. You would not be able to mount a din deck and a din flip-up LCD without serious mods.

But! You can easily change your Sirius subscription from your OEM Ford reciever to an aftermarket reciever. You won't be able to use the Ford sirius reciever with any aftermarket decks.

well, looks like i need to buy another Bezel so i have one to mod....see if i can't MAKE a double DIN install fit in a Din-and-a-half install. I plan on buying the motorized display pretty soon.

I'm going to try this in my 05 Ranger, states 02 but I can't tell much difference from my 97 B2300 I had so if it doesn't it shouldn't take much to make it work.

well, if i stack a single DIN radio and my display on top of eachother, they are about the same size as my stock stereo.... I THINK that kit might work.

It can work!! Sizewise, it works fine. the main issue is going to be the bezel, which it looks like the scoche kit takes care of.
