Also, I think someone might have already said this, but try to move your AC controls down. Less problems w/ TS and shifter.
Peace,

Good luck with it! I have a '94 and have been planning too. No parts purchases yet...
I'm going to build a "tent" above the center stack for a 7" screen.
There's a Z3 posted from Europe that did that and it looks slick.
Good luck, man! I'll wait to see what you do before I carputer any of the miatas.Originally Posted by Atrium

Alright, I've narrowed it down to a single wire.

I don't suppose anyone without a miata would know how to resolve this, but
if anyone knows what this wire is, or how to extend it, it would be a big help.
And to anyone who notices the large amount of rust in that pic, I'm trying to remove that as well.
Don't bother. Unless you paint the structure, it will just come back. I've never seen a miata without some rust on that frame.Originally Posted by Atrium
I'll check my shop manual later (and the car if I have to) to see what that is. Don't know off the top of my head.
Here you go... from my '94 factory shop manual.

Thanks VCS, and thanks for the picture lagunamiata.
I now know that that is the "Air intake wire adjstment" it's the only wire holding the HVAC unit from being moved. If I cant do it myself, i'll take it to an auto place to have it lengthened.
