usb 2.0 conversion

is there anyway to turn a usb 1.1 into a usb 2.0 on a motherboard that has no pci slots? thanks for the help

If your mobo is USB 2.0 compliant than most likeley an Update to SP1 or 2 with Windows XP will do the trick...

maybe if you're a good EE, but you can buy a usb 2.0 board for $35 or less on ebay, depending on your proc

If the circuts are 1.1 then no you cannot.

so there is no way i can change it to usb 2.0. the reason is that i want to hook up a rear vie camera through a external tv tuner and i want the best quality i can get so i wanted to upgrade to usb 2.0.

First off, as mentioned, it depends on the specs of your motherboard. Read the documentation. My motherboard only required windows service pack 1 to obtain usb 2.0.
Second, it isn't really necessary for that particular application, unless the usb device calls for 2.0. The quality will be dependant on the camera itself and the capture card I guess.
