I've been reading on this forum for a while and looking some deals from members. I'm close to choosing a setup, but then I ran across a pentium 3 driven motherboard with integrated video, etc... now what benefits does this have over the Epia boards? I'm assuming the epia CPUs aren't as fast as the pentium 3s.
Also, what are the benefits of using an inverter such as...

The main advantage of the Epia is its small size and low power consumption along with most everything integrated on the board. They are a bit pricier because of this.
They also have a reputation for being slow because they are, but depending on the speed of the P3 you are looking at, they may be comparable.
