check your remote amp turn on cable that MIGHT be it thats what happend the first tim e i ever wired up a headunit in my explorer... i didnt plug in the remote cable and the amps wouldnt turn on but when i did that it was working fine
Hi everyone,
I am trying to upgrade headunit to mp3 player from my BOSE unit in 01 Pathfinder. I got this adapter http://www.crutchfield.com/S-nlQRE5j...51&I=142C4NN03 to interface to BOSE Amp along with Pioneer DEH-P4700MP http://www.crutchfield.com/S-dqlTmD1...0&I=130DEHP470
After connecting all 8 speaker wires and power wires, head unit turns on but there is no sound coming from any speakers!!! Anyone had similar problem upgrading from BOSE headunit? I heard BOSE speakers have lower ohms rating so it requires higher power to drive them, but I am using BOSE Amp using the adapter.
Any advise will be appreciated!!!
