and maybe they were saying the software is able to work on the pda not the reciever itself?

Well, you would need USB Host on your PDA, I'm guessing you don't have that or a CF slot, right?

If you want a cheap GPS for your PDA, go to http://store.yahoo.com/semsons-inc/itmousgpsrec.html

Emaill them to see if that HP iPac model is compatible with your PDA Phone.

That's what I used on my Clie, it's nice.

It charges your PDA while using it as a GPS.

I would not reccomend you use streets and trips for your GPS needs.

There are better options: Mapopolis and iGuidance

    Hope this helps.

    Peace,

    Rafster

I wouldn't count on that i.Trek working with the 6315.

I too have a 6315 but I'm slightly less impressed than you guys seem to be, granted it's good for what it is, a smartphone (heck, it's the best available here in the states), but it's a pretty pathetic PDA with practically no support, and it's an even worse phone, the speaker in my handset blew during normal use (not even at max volume) so now the only way to use it as a phone is with a headset, which can be a bit of a pain, fortunately it's under waranty so I just have to get it RMAd. I just think that for $500 it could be better, still I couldn't think of going back to a normal phone like a Nokia.

dude i have been using that phone for abot 1.5 year and nothing happend to my phone it just depends on how u use the phone if u were messing with the phone setting like when u get diffrent player like i got gsplayer and when u mess arround with sound setting it can blow out ur speaker but once again there can be some defects that i have heared of but untill now i had no problems yet. im posting right now from my phone lol scince my comp is messed up. anyways nokias are great phones especally the series 60 like the 7okia 3650 gr8 phone still have it some time use it luve at phone lol.
