Here's another: learn how to type & spell & use punctuation. The answers you get will be a lot better.
As far as your Qs:

Also, your grammar, spelling and punctuation make your post difficult to read. Some will just give up and not even read your posts.any advice or comments would help!
This isnt' a text message going out to a cellphone. You can use the two extra keystrokes to spell "you" and not get charged anymore. I promise.
Yes, it's possible to have internet access wherever you go, so long as you have cell signal. It's also possible to have cellphone-based internet as well as wi-fi when you're within range of an accessible access point. Do some reading in the FAQ Emporium like I suggested and you'll see how.anywayz the thing is i want to build a carputer that has a great graphics card for games, plays almost everytying including DVDs, VCDs, MP3s, Wav, Avi, Mpeg....ect....has wireless internet, i would prefer lan if possible for anywhere i go......is that possible or do u have to be near your computer from home to get lan?
A 'great' graphics card is going to draw a lot of power, which could put a big crimp in your project. I'd go with a lesser card, yet still capable. If you want to have the most ***-kickin' in-car PC, you're going to power it off an inverter, which will bring about other issues.
Again, some reading in the FAQ Emporium will reveal much.

- GPRS is internet service for GSM cellphones. It has nothing to do with navigation. GPS is for navigation. They are far more different than a single letter would indicate.
- CDDB databases are, as far as I know, only available online.
- If you don't know what parts you need to build a computer, then you're diving into the wrong hobby. Look at buying a pre-built PC, maybe something from the store here. That Gateway you purchased back in 2000 is very old. 3 years is pushing the practical usable lifespan of a PC. Most large corporations rotate out their PC hardware every 2-2.5 years.
- I addressed the graphics card above.
- The "best" software is a matter of opinion, but the general consensus is that Drivesoft is a piece of **** and the company that developed it aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. The major front ends are all freeware (for now). Download them all and determine which suits you best.
- WindowsXP IS an OS (OS means Operating System, by the way). The differences are far to numerous to mention here. If you don't know any other OS, then use WindowsXP. Trust me on this one.
dont double post motha ****aaaa :-) now darque was nicer then me huh?
There's just something about Darque and noobs...![]()
You know, just an observation, but this board is one of the more newbie unfriendly boards I have seen. Admittedly, BIzFLAWLESS seemed rather clueless, and this thread is probably not a good example to use, but the majority of newbie posts that are well thought out and ask intelligent questions still seem to meet a lot of resistance, and little help.
Oh, and I know the response to this is going to be "shut up, newbzzzzz, you only joined last month" but that's alright, it doesn't bother me.

**sigh**I've read through most of this forum before I became a member, so I've seen many noob posts. Even though my status is "newbie", I know how the guys are here. They are infact very nice and knowledgable people that want to help you. But by demanding a "please" is a little too much. Seriously if you want perfect edicit go have tea with some old English women. (not that I have anything against the English). I normally try to anwser these posts with useful infomation, but if you would have just taken the advice of a fellow MP3 Car memeber and began reading in the FAQ Emporium, instead of startig an agument that will proboly end up having like 12 pages of responses to your stupidity, then everyone would be happy and you would find the anwser to all your questions. Freaking-a now i know why people get frusturated at noobs.
(And yes I know i'm a noob, but read my posts, they're all productive and never contain info that has already been asked, unless that info is being clarified)
