Nope not going to happen. either throw the compy in the boot and have the screen on its mount, or chop up the dash.
Hi...
I have been banging my head on this for a while.
Basically, I have a 2003 G35 coupe w/factory navigation.
I want to keep the current screen/nav and add a second screen.
However, I do not want to use the double-din conversion kit -- in fact, I want no drilling or dash removal.
I am looking for some type of no-drill screen mount. I have found a few out there but none seem to work with the G35, has anyone tried any of these? Any success?
I was dreaming of an arm that extends from the seat (ie: head rest bars) or something similiar.
Furthermore, I have a mac mini and a 7 in VGA touchscreen and want to find a mount that will support the weight of both. Actually, I want to rig them together somehow, so that the solution is removable (safely store in my trunk when not around).
Anyway, I can figure how to rig the box to the screen, I just need a method to rig the screen to my car without drilling or modding the dash.
Thanks in advance for any help!
