    OEM screen brigthness

    Hi guys i'm new here.
I realized that all the tft screens (7" or 8") have a brightness of about 300/400 cdm.
My father has a mercedes class E with a 7" (no touchscreen) screen which looks great even in the sunrise.
I'd like to know what usually is the brightness in OEM screens like my father's.
Thanks to all and sorry for my f***ing english.

The brightness of OEM screens will vary quite a bit depending on the manufacturer so it is hard to give an exact specification.

My opinion only: to be sunlight readable means that the screen is 500 cdm or brighter. If you have a touchscreen overlay then glare will increase and brightness will decrease.

Don't some OEMs use transflexive screens?
