It sounds like a good setup to me. I'm gonna be ordering that same PSU for my setup. Good luck! I would have gone with an opus 120 watt for that though... seems like it might need more than 90...
obviosly im new to this whole thing (carputers) but ive been installing mobile audio/video for a long time now and wanted to try somthing new ive searched and read as much as i can and pretty much got evrything down so i went ahead and placed an order today and basicly it consists of
-via epia m10000 mini itx main board
-samsung 40gb 2.4" hd
-pannasonic slot load cd-rw/dvd-rom combo drive w/ an external usb/fire wire enclosure
-m1 atx 90w power supply
what do you guys think its my first carputer and i dont know much about computers am i missing any thing any tips tricks or info would be apprieciated

i believe you need RAM also.
obviously a display and an input device, or get a touchscreen.

Learn about computer hardware before you start this project. You might even consider building a desktop computer first so you can understand how it all goes together. It will make your life a lot easier.Originally Posted by lowryder
thanks for the responses actually i have put a desktop together b4 but i dont know all the technical stuff i have a basic understanding of how it all goes together and i forgot to mention that i got a 7" liliput touch screen i called mp3car today and they told me that the power supply i orderd is plenty for the motherboard, drive, moniter, and any other usb device that i might be using wich i plan on getting a nav antenna
