My possible setup, with problems I haven't solved yet

Ok before anyone gets mad at me I have tried searching quite a bit, for a couple months on and off actually. But it has come down to crunch time and I finally have money and I'm installing my screen next week, but I need a computer and power solution.
Ok the car is a 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe. I'm trying to build a decently powerful, but affordable computer basically for mp3s, DVD, nav, and maybe OBDII and WiFi later. I got $400 cash laying around to put towards the comp and more can go on the credit card. So far I'm looking at a setup like this http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...648355&CatId=0 because it needs to be movable out of the car. But the major problem I have is powering the system. I have searched but electrical systems confuse me.
    Thanks for the help.

Sorry about cutting the first post off so fast...boss was coming. The system needs to be easily movable b/c summer heat in Vegas/Tempe will kill anything. I realize using this setup I will probably end up using an inverter due to power consumption. I read the FAQ on power setups and it says the carnetix is used with a PSU already installed in a computer, but which Carnetix should I use and is it an inverter or just a startup/shutdown controller? Please any help would be greatly appreciated, I've tried searching but I haven't been able to come up with the answers in a way that I understand yet and time is starting to get short since I need to start installing most of this stuff before I go back to school in January.

    P.S. - I already have a 700TS xenarc that I'm installing using a digitalwheelz kit

i say stay with low power consumption and mini itx format. anything over 1.0 ghz is good for mp3 dvd and gps. which is what most people use carputer for. i think that barebone is too expensive especially for a sempron. why dont you look into already made computers in the mp3car.com store? for about the same price you can get a better system which is lower power consumption which means less heat. and you can mount it in the car permanently this way. and if your worried add an extra external fan next to the computer case.

What is your suggestion then for building one through the mp3car store? From what I've tried building through there it seems really expensive. I was thinking I could go without the DVD-drive and get a full size one mounted remotely but would the M1 power supply be able to power it? And do most of those come with onboard video and how good are they?

What kind of case is it in? and what's wrong with it so that you are selling it? I just don't want to buy a system and then need to replace it later. Also how are you powering it?
