If you mean an actual switch/button on the board itself, I don't think there is one.

If you mean the jumpers/pins to which buttons/switches for power on/of and/or reset can be connected, that set of pins is located in the lower-righthand corner of the board, if you orient the board so that you're looking down from above and the external ports face left. The manual has the exact pins identified.

pins 6 and 8 on the M10K are the pins on the second row. They are the 3rd and 4th from the left, respectively. It's in the manual, but I know it so I'll be helpful.

    sorry!

i didn't know, that the on/off is within the chassis pins (thats in the manual ). so on/off = power switch, right?

but how about the polarity? what is "+" what "-"

what if i wanna know, what all the other pins on the board are for, where can i look that up?

I don't think polarity matters for that.

    Yes, "on/off" = "power".

You can download the manuals and stuff from Via's website. There's a diagram in the manual that IDs all the pins in that block.

Here's the downloads page for the M10k mobo: http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/ma.../downloads.jsp

By the way, when I connected my M10000 to to my Carnetix regulator, polarity did matter. It would start until I flipped the connector around. If that happens to you, just flip it around and try it.
