really new!i want a car pc

hey i dont know anything about carputing and i wanna get into it.I live in the bahamas and i dont know anybody that has one in there car so i wanna be the first or one of the first.I just started fiberglassing my speaker pods and know a great bit on installing car dvd and cd player and amps ,that kinda stuff,but know i wanna get into your hobby cuz it looks like fun,so how do i start and what r my options.i have a 95 honda accord power acustic dvd player and a 7.5 flip down lcd screen in the back and a 5" lcd on the front dash and a new sony cd deck

personally, i think you should pimp out a jitney bus. but i'm cool with the car idea too.

one specific problem to keep in mind is the island heat. you need to choose your processor/case/fans properly to avoid problems.

in general, read the FAQ before they all flame you. i can hear them coming now.

search just like the rest of us did. you have all kinds of options for display, power, casing, wiring, processors. narrow down the question some more or just search around. you'll find all the answers you need.

i have already started searching ,and have found alot of great stuff on where to start and how to go about what i wanna do,i think this is a great web site and hope to learn alot about this fun new hobby...p.s thanx for the break...lol
