That's stupid and wasteful. It would be alot cheaper to have 5 or 6 batteries and some kind of professional, honking power supply that cuts off when they get low.

But I guess it's his money...

I'm sorry, I'm very confused as to how that makes any sense at all...

Wouldn't it be more economical (assuming that he needs the computer running for that fabulous voice activated alarm system(would love details on that)) to buy a couple redtops and plug the thing in when you get home? Assuming, that he needs the computer on all the time, which is ridiculous. Why not just have it run off a system that is more power friendly, like a low wattage setup(which could possibly be hooked up to solar panels even). Something else.

I'm very confused. Pictures and details would be fantastic. I'm very curious about your car and his.

A guy I knew in high school (2 years ago) had a delorean, thing was a hog man. Sounded not so good though. And those slit windows just seemed like a hassle. But the doors rock. Too bad the company was run by a crazy man.

    maybe the car doesnt exist.

and IMO john delorean was a genius. he pretty much dropped the DMC plant in a country with a 30% unemployment rate. and even as bad as DMC did, he brought the country out of poverty. if you've ever watched the tape of the cops setting him up, he never touched any drugs, and money, or signed anything at all. he nodded his head and agree'd to a few things and the court eventualy agree'd that it was insufficiant information to charge him on.

I dont think deloreans are anything special. to me, they look like the typical 80's car. and TBO, resemble...my 1990 toyota camry. but every aspect of his car was inovative and unique.

he also was responsible for the pontiac gto and bringing GM out of a potential disaster (its happening now, anyway )
