Heres my '04 Ford Ranger Edge. I went a much diffrent route then most people.
As for fitting something the size of a laptop under the seat..you're probably going to have some trouble with that as previously mentioned. I have an ATX power supply under the seat, and width wise, it's a pretty close fit.
And the stock Edge H/U (at least for an '04) does not have aux-in. Personally, I bought a H/U with aux-in..I wanted one for fm radio and thoes 5 minute drives where you really don't need the computer.
Nice work so far Rocky. I'd like to see it when the project is done. The only problem I have with my install and deciding on a location for everything is that I am in Iraq and my truck is in Texas hehehe. I will get home on leave and go nuts getting this thing installed. I will have everything for it here shortly here in country and then take it home with me when I go home on leave.

The power supply is about where the red square is but you cant see it because of the hard drive. I used the power, ground and remote lead from the headunit wiring harness since i didnt need the headunit anymore.

Brandonn: What size monitor is that? I like the completed look by the way. Very nice.
It's more important what model it is.. I have had a 7" Lilliput (piece of crap) that fit perfectly just as the picture above does.. Then it broke so I got a 7" Xenarc and it was a bit wider and didn't fit.. I ended up molding it into my bezel but that's just something you should know.
How long did your lilliput last?
I think just a couple months. I was fortunate in that mp3car let me buy the Xenarc for the price difference of the two (and also return the Lilli).
Well I finally got all my stuff in from the mail ( Thank you MP3Car.com Store ) and started loading up the baseline for the system but I forgot something. Does anyone know how to start the click feature in Windows XP ( Active Desktop ) I can't seem to remember where to find it or if XP even has it. I quite using it along time ago and now I need it for the touchscreen portion of this install hehehe
The click feature?? What do you mean?
