Seriously, it all depends on what you want to do and how complete you want that list to be.

Do you want to power it? Then you'll probably need some 4 ga wire, at least one fuse for that, some 8 ga wire, another fuse for that, some 4 or 8 ga wire for grounding, you have (IMHO) too much ram, you have no case, no usb extension cables, no usb hub, no keyboard or mouse, wireless ethernet, no bluetooth, and you'll need various little connectors, etc.

I'm astounded by how $$$ consuming this little project has become. In my quest to get everything just right, I've ended up dropping more money than I'd care to realize on what I'd call "incidentals."

I'd go with the M2-ATX. then there's lots of extra juice to run external accesories

You prolly won't need a mouse, if all you ever use is a frontend for media/gps. web browsing would almost require it. A wireless NIC is essential for getting stuff (media) onto your carpc, unless you like pluggin in everywhere you go lol.

As far as needing or not needing a USB hub, it's dependant on your setup. I've gotten away without one up until today, so i'm making the appropriate purchases and changes to the setup.

Exactly. I had what I thought was everything I needed. Silly me Then I realized I wanted a keyboard for those rare times when I need to type and don't want to use the osk provided through the frontend. Then I realized I needed a bluetooth adapter if I wanted to use the keyboard I was thinking about. Then I decided I wanted to have the lights for hard disk activity, pc power and psu status up on the dashboard as LEDs, then I figured I might as well add a usb hub up front to help with the various connections up there, then I realized I needed...you get the picture. That's why Darque's got 5 million posts and his carpc is not even finished yet! He's one of the few on here that seems to be taking his time getting exactly what he wants and it will probably be one of the nicest installs on the board.
