hi there im a new member but i have been on this site quite a lot, im wondering about about getting an all-in-one system which has sat nav, pc and sterio, i was wondering how sat nav works and how i can link a system like that up, are there any good devices which are all in ones and whats kind of cost am i looking at ive got about $2000-$2500 to spend but the cheaper the better aslong as the quality is ok

That is essentially the point of the car pc....
You have found the right place to answer all of those questions. Good luck in your SEARCH for answers.

All (okay most) of us here are on the same quest and have spent MANY hours with SPOONful after SPOONful of reading to come to the conclusions that have FED to the success of these forums.

Your best bet is to start with the basic idea of getting a PC that will work best for your needs and start from there.
2000 or more should be plenty of money to build a system, unless you consider the time to SEARCH all these threads. It does take time, but you will be happier if you do it from SCRATCH. MY suggestion, HEAD over to the newbie area and read the FAQs. That will get you started in the right direction.
